We all want our kids to be able to spend time with others their own age. We want them to be able to make new friends, have sleepovers, and go to parties where they can enjoy their young years. When they go back to school they can sometimes find it hard to adjust.

Our children are growing each and every day - which means you have to be prepared to constantly be on the lookout for bigger clothes and more food for them to consume. One of the hardest things for a growing baby to deal with is breaking in teeth. It is painful for any child to teeth and sometime they are breaking in more then two at a time - which makes it even worse.

When it comes to our children we can’t help - but do all we can to try to capture every moment that we have with them. Investing in a digital camera is one of the best things as parents that we can do. It allows us to catch all of the cute moments that they have. Of course all of those pictures will get lost or ruined if we don’t do something to keep them safe. In order to keep everything together and to keep the memories alive is to create a scrapbook.

Our parents always reminded us that we didn’t always have to do things around the house to clean - but we did have to pick up our own rooms and the things that we played with. Picking up after ourselves is something that should be taught to children at a young age. The more they learn about this the more it will become routine to them.

When it comes to our children we do all that we can to make sure that they are provided for. We get them the food they love, the clothes they need, and of course there are the toys. Those of you who are first time parents will accept and purchase every type of toy imaginable.

It’s sad when we feel the need to make up excuses in order to spend time in the great outdoors. Let’s face it not many of us think it’s fun to play outside. We would rather watch television, play video games, or even read a book. But we all need fresh air and sunlight and in the end we will feel the better for it.

One of the hardest transitions to make with your child is when they are reaching the age when you must drop them off and they just don’t want to leave your side. They are used to seeing their mom or dad everyday and they hate to be separated to stay with someone they are not familiar with. Your child’s separation anxiety can be difficult to deal with - but it is something that you have to work on.

When our children come of age we are aware of the fact that it is time and we immediately go out to buy the toilet training tools we need and try to show our children exactly what they need to do.

Flying is the fastest way to travel - but sometimes it can be hard for us to do that when we have young children. That is because it can be harder for them to take the ride confined for two hours. Not to mention the fact that everyone looks bad on us because they feel that all children have the tendency to scream. In fact some people and their children have been kicked off the plane before just because their children were crying.

Our kids will always get sick. No matter how hard we try to keep anything from happening to them they will always come down with that yearly cold or some other sickness. That is why we need to be prepared.
Supplies:
- Children’s Acetaminophen or Ibuprofen
- Antiseptics and antibiotic ointments
- Bandages
- Hot and cold water pack or bottle
- Medicine measure (a dropper, syringe or calibrated spoon)
- Rubbing alcohol
- Thermometer
- Saline nose drops
- Tissues
- Juice
- Petroleum jelly
